Why Normaly Exists
NetSuite gets a bad reputation. Slow, clunky, outdated — you've heard it. So have I. But in almost every case, the system isn't the problem. The configuration is.
NetSuite is one of the most robust ERPs available. So is Celigo for integrations. When they're set up correctly for your specific business model, they run quietly in the background and you stop thinking about them. When they're not — everything becomes manual, everything breaks at peak, and your team spends more time managing the system than running the business.
Most NetSuite consultants come from wholesale and manufacturing. That's where the system's roots are. Ecommerce is a different world — multi-channel, multi-warehouse, marketplace SLAs, DTC return logic, real-time inventory pressure. I've worked exclusively in that world, and that complexity fascinated me instead of pushing me away.
